What is Love? (Kashia, Salale & Koebi Faumui) What is love, oooh, What is love? What is love, oh yeah, what is love? Is it a state of contemporary madness? Or a stupor of bewildered excitement Or is it an ache that just won’t go away, well, I really don’t know. Or maybe an attraction of an infatuation Or some feelings that can bring on sensations Or could it be the movement of the old under cloth, well, I really don’t know. Is it an emotion that’s without explanation? Maybe a form of self-gratification Or could it be a part of our human relations, I really don’t know. Maybe it’s a way to express our affection For a person to attract their attention Or maybe like a drug it becomes an addiction, I really don’t know What is love what is love what is love all about? It is crazy and confusing of that there ain’t no doubt From the words of the book that’s where the real love comes from But since that time I've asked myself where has the real love gone? When you look at the movies and the things that’s on TV I didn't realize love was naked or bra and pantie free The mixed messages we see and hear leads one to real confusion The tainted view of what real love is makes love a real illusion According to things we see loves an ache from deep inside But if you believe the things you read love is hurtful love is blind Whilst these sayings may seem clear, as clear as the morning fog, If you apply these things to life then what you’ll need is a two legged guide dog

I wanna go home (Salale Faumui) I wanna go home Well I just have to be strong One way or another I’ll get there my brothers I wanna go home I wanna go home I just have to believe Hang on to the end I’ll get there my friend I wanna go home And though the steps in which I walk Will not be easy to see But with you holding my hand I will be finally free I wanna go home Well I just have to believe Hang on to the end I’ll get there my friend I wanna go home If you wanna go there too Have faith in what you believe Let love come into your heart And you will surely receive I wanna go home Well I just have to be strong One way or another I’ll get there my brothers I wanna go home

They won’t be gone forever (Salale Faumui) Its an emotion Hard to Perceive Something difficult to see or believe that person you don’t want to leave hard to say goodbye all those memories Thought you see them go maybe to a paradise to a better place that’ll really treat them nice though life goes on for the rest of us remember this one thing: they won’t be gone forever We take our friendship for granted though many things in this world can be too flattered Sometimes we give a thought for people we used to know all around the world we dearly love them so That person that we know That we find hard to let go Won’t be gone forever Yes that I know so Though its hard to say goodbye Tears falling from your cheeks you cry though you know in your heart and mind
4.
Come to the Party (Salale Faumui) Come to the party made for you and me Where the food is plenty and the drinks are free Come to the party for eternity Where the gates are open and the entries free Everywhere I look around my eyes can see The worries and the troubles of society From the fighting and the killings for democracy To the cries of a baby on the side of a street For Jesus says leave all your burden’s behind My peace and my joy in your heart you will find A stony heart of old I will make brand new So here’s an invitation that I give to you When Jesus comes again he will take us on high Top live in that place way on up in the sky We will see all the things we've never seen before And we’ll in his kingdom there for evermore Oh when we get to heaven we will give him praise And be found in the presence of his holy name With beauty we will sing as only angels can I will bring my guitar so I can jam with the lamb

Raining 03:12
Raining (Salale Faumui) Raining, little drops of water falling from the sky It really makes me think of my life and I About my life and all my strife Though you, you keep from falling so far down Making me feel very safe and sound Maybe sometimes it may not work Droplets of moisture crawling down my cheeks Right now everything is looking bleak But I tell myself that good will come from this From every single storm comes a rainbow kiss Oh oh oh Grey clouds coming, black and white keep passing me by Reminds me of all my dark times Of my life Though now, it has turned out fine I’m able to live my life as mine Though I know I’ll be discouraged So little darling pick yourself up off the ground Because only you can help yourself now
6.
Holding on 03:33
Holding on (Koebi Faumui) It seems a long long time Since you have been away I think of all the things I wish that I could say The warmth of your embrace The kindness of your sigh So many days go by That I've learnt to improvise I’m holding on til I see your lovely smile again I’m holding on until you’re here with me I’m holding on until we meet again on some sweet day Until then I wish you love I recall the times we had The smiles the tears and laughs All now are memories That are treasured in my past There seems a void within That no one else can see I miss the love and joy and Kindness you showed me I’m holding on til I see your lovely smile again I’m holding on until you’re here with me I’m holding on until we meet again on some sweet day Until then I wish you love

Song for my father (Salale Faumui) I remember as a child when I thought to myself Would my memories of you belong to me? And when I searched in my mind for it was too hard to find The moments when I saw you smile And if I ever got to sing another song for you I would sing a song that lasts forever I would tell you the stories of the good things I've done And I hope you’d be proud of your son And I’d show you the pictures of my daughter and sons So you’d see them before your days were done Even though the times I've met you, I recall are a few They tell me that I am more like you They say I have your eyes your nose your heart and that my good looks comes from you and if that’s the case then who am I to argue
8.
You’re going home (Salale Faumui) You’re going home You’re going home You’re going home It was not so long ago, when you were just a boy You were playing with your soldiers and all your other toys I thought of yesterday and how it could have been The day I heard you were gone There was crying all around it was such an awful sound From the loved ones who had cared for you no answers could be found And so it came to be that you were gone from me The day I heard you were gone I see the tears in your eyes I feel the pain of your soul But you don’t have to worry no more because you’re You’re going home I see the tears in your eyes I feel the pain of your soul But you don’t have to worry no more because you’re You’re going home The questions in my mind of how you could not see The beauty of your specialness and what you mean to me The answers to these things I really couldn't find The day I heard you were gone The burden of my heart in silence I did shout For words could not express the kind of emptiness I felt The sorrow and the pain will be here from now on The day I heard you were gone I see the tears in your eyes I feel the pain of your soul But you don’t have to worry no more because you’re You’re going home I see the tears in your eyes I feel the pain of your soul But you don’t have to worry no more because you’re You’re going home…

Leave it all 02:24
Leave it all (Salale Faumui) Judgement Something we’re all accused of Those little words That seems like a heavenly dove But those just turned out to be lies When I looked into your eyes No I won’t be afraid I’m gonna stand on my two legs I won’t believe those lies I’m just gonna leave it all behind You put a perfect smile In a perfect place Just realize That I see what’s behind that face But I’m not falling for those lies Not letting you play with my mind No I won’t be afraid I’m gonna stand on my two legs I won’t believe those lies I’m just gonna leave it all behind Now I hate it when you fake it You cannot hide it so just replace it With the truth instead of lies And don’t bother acting why oh why Because I won’t be afraid I’m gonna stand on my two legs I won’t believe those lies I’m just gonna leave it all behind

Love that’s Real (Kashia Faumui) Whatcha love is whatcha gotta pursue You’ll get a lot of loving sent back to you Yea whatcha love it whatcha gotta pursue This is the love that’s real; this is the love you gotta do Love is word that gets thrown around It can pick you right up when you are feeling down But it can break hearts; it can also cause a spark But this ain’t the kind of love we should focus on, I've found It can be such an illusion, and cause confusion Oh chasing it’s a waste of time Just let it come freely, and listen to me We’ve all got a passion, a love for something we’re good at Don’t go wasting your talents, it’s a real blessing you know that This love can make a difference, and create change in this world of ours Dream big and believe that you have that power Some people are of delusion, they cause confusion But have faith in time, you’ll be happy in life

about

Hello everyone. Thank you for visiting this site and taking an interest in our music.

"Seriously" is a mixture of reflective and fun songs of which three were written by our dad and the remainder by ourselves. This project is a re-launch of an album we released in January 2012, we've replaced the cover songs with seven of our originals. The title we gave to the album was more so to poke fun at ourselves as a reminder that we should never take ourselves too seriously. Even though life brings us challenges and obstacles we should always be grateful and appreciative of what we have. Thank you for taking the time to read and listen to this.

As always our music is available for free download. However, if you also wish to give a donation you're most welcome to do so as well.

Kindest regards and wishing you much love and blessings,
Kashia, Salale & Koebi

Who are we?

I'm Kashia(17), I'm Salale(16) and I'm Koebi(11) Faumui. We are a vocal group who've been singing and performing together for the past three years. Predominately raised and influenced by gospel and acapella music from a young age. We've been classically trained in piano from the age of five and have extended our interest of musical instruments to guitar, bass, ukulele, trumpet and drums.

We developed our vocal ability to sing and harmonize through regular singing sessions around the guitar as little kids, and under the musical influences of our Samoan Dad and Polish Mum. The main reason why we do music is because we love it and while we may not have the most amazing voices or the most gifted musicians you've heard, but we can promise you our best every time we sing.
