Always Searching (Kashia Faumui)
Ain’t it funny how things change, Nothing ever stays the same
Once a child, now a growing man, What was then, isn’t now
What is now won’t be then, Oh ain’t it funny how things change
Cos we’re always searching for more
When will we be happy?
When will that time come?
We all live each day in search for something
When we get there in times, we change our mind
And start over again
It’s like a Ferris wheel that never stops to let you off
Going round and round, stuck in the motions
And don’t make a sound,……………..Chorus
Feel like a child runaway
Will someone please bring me home today
Is this what we’re meant to be,
Sailors on an endless sea

How sweet

How Sweet (Kashia Faumui)
Why are you feeling so down?
You better flip that frown, right away
Come and sing this silly song with me
And we’ll see how sweet this life can be
When there’s good there’ll always be the bad
But if you look at all the things you have
Oh you will see how sweet it can be
Why are you feeling so blue?
There are many reasons for you to wear that beautiful smile of yours
This may not be your day but you’ll have plenty more
Just don’t worry and see how sweet this life can be

Not worth fixing

Not Worth Fixing (Kashia Faumui)
You’re like a hole in my sock, not worth fixing
I’m done wasting my time on you
Oh you’re stuck in the mud, and you keep sinking
All my care and my love won’t budge you
I give in (echo), I give up (echo)
You won’t budge (echo), No you won’t move (Ooo)
I give in (echo), I give up (echo)
No my care and my love won’t budge you
I know a broken somebody, some would call him a fool
He was tall and he had it all, but he thought he was too cool
He a got a little of track, must’ve lost his compass and map
Now I saw this lost sheep, offered my guidance
But he threw it right back
He thought everything’d be a breeze, I told him mm it’s a tough world out there
Going up and down like a yoyo, his stubbornness got him now where
He knew what’s wrong and what’s right, but he still put a fight
I hope he comes to his senses and makes it mended
Well he just might

Achievable

Achievable (Koebi Faumui)
Anything’s achievable
You just have to focus
You’ve got to keep that momentum
Then everyone will start to notice
You’ve got to want success more than you want to breathe
You got to want it more than anything
I know it takes a lot of discipline
But if you follow these rules than you’re sure to be in
When everything’s dark and you’ve lost all hope
And you need that someone to help you climb that rope
You've got no food and you've got no home
And you live on the streets with no place to roam
You say that you’ve got a terrible life
You got no money and you got no wife
No one will give you a place to stay
All they want to do is push you away
All that comes with work
You didn’t think it would be that easy
You got to get in that mindset
Then it will pass you like lemon squeezy

The unknown

The Unknown (Salale Faumui)
What to do, where to start
All these feeling in my heart
I see many things on my way
What else will I see today?
Many sights amuse me
Makes me think of my family
Some would be better to not be seen
But it might build my personality
Like a tree my mind starts to grow
Branching into areas of the unknown
The roots of intelligence flow through me
Making me see myself differently
It’s a good experience, has a sense of triumph
Though I feel defiant oh
Finally gonna spread my wings
Get a feeling of on top of things
The more I see the more I know
Full steam ahead let’s goes
Its scary looking from the outside
Makes you wonder what’s wrong or right
Maybe I’m mis-educated and need to be reformulated
Lying down looking across the sky, what sort of person am I?

Social ladder

|
|||
Social Ladder (Kashia Faumui)
It’s all about impressions
What you think of them, what they think of you
You try so hard to please
But who? Them or you?
Your need to feel significant
Will it quench your thirst, or make it worse?
What’s the point in all these things?
Someone must inform you, it’s never ending
You keep climbing the rigs of the social ladder
But sooner or later you’ll find what does it matter
These temporary joys of life won’t be the ones you remember
So what really is the point in this social ladder?
Some people throw away everything
Everything they ever knew, those who cared for you
Without a clue about the cost
Or the damage done, you won’t get a refund
It won’t be long before you find
And realise how quickly is all slipped away
Was it worth it?
Well that’s a matter we can debate

Trick myself

Trick myself (Salale Faumui)
I look into my heart with head held high
Find my emotions much to my surprise
But what concerns me comes from deep inside
Where a malevolent thing likes to hide
So I pray to god and tell myself a lie
To trick my mind for the thousandth time
It may be bad but it gets me by
At least through the next few sleepless nights
One wise person has once said
Solve your problems with your head
Though the heart is a different matter
It wasn’t made just to be broken and flattered
Better think this whole thing through
Before the problem stays with you
I gotta keep on holding on and
Get this thing out of my thoughts
I know I got the missing puzzle piece
How can I get rid of things like these?

Life

Life (Koebi Faumui)
Life’s going pretty well for me
It looks like it’s going the way I want it to be
I’ve just turned my double digit number
Now I don’t have to feel like I’m the one under
But everyone has their down times
Seems like they don’t know what to do
But if we have that little spark of hope
We might have the faith to climb that rope
I’ve just graduated
Now my family doesn’t think I’m cute
I can’t wait til I get my car
I’ll probably be driving a Ute
I’ve just turned twenty one
I’ve finally got my car
I’m on a tour with my brother and sister
And hope one day I’ll become a star

Embers

Embers (Salale Faumui)
There was a girl I used to know,
She was the apple of my eye
But something was peculiar,
Something I can’t describe
Now this is something very strange to me
From on to another she would go pleasantly
I could not decipher her activities
soon it became very clear to me
Her love is like an ember
(There one night gone the next day)
Her love is like an Ember
(keeps me on my toes, keeps me wide awake)
Her love is like an ember
(Makes you weary, don’t make a mistake)
Yes her love is like an Ember
Though she tricks me, she was on my mind
Every second to an hour of the time
I knew I had to let her go
my head said yes but my heart said no
So now I know what has to be done
No one said this was gonna be fun
Why can’t you let her go?
It’s for the best you know
But what if it causes harm?
Keep it cool stay calm
Even though we both know something’s wrong
It wasn’t gonna last for long

For a reason

For a reason (Koebi Faumui)
Everything happens for a reason
Whether it’s good or bad
Everything happens for a purpose
Whether it makes you happy or sad
One day I win the lottery
The next day I loose my cash
What is it with all this contrast
There has always been some ups and downs in my past
One time I became a father
The day after I got fired
Why do these odd things happen
All this thinking id making me tired
All these things are making me fed up
I don’t know if I should just give up
This repetitive sequence is either good or bad
And it’s making me feel both happy and sad
I don’t want this anymore
I’m sick and tired and shutting the door
